Hi, this is a 3d printed gear replacement for the nylon gear inside the gear box. This is only for the gear that comes in contact with the motor. This is printed with a carbon infilled nylon filament. The gear is printed with 100% infill. Please note that this 3D printed gear has been replaced on many machines with very successful results. If your machine still makes noise after replacing the gear, that means there are more issues with the gearbox than just the gear. It may be a broken bearing or damaged shafts inside the gearbox. I’ve had machines that needed both a new gear and new bearings. Another machine had a broken runner on the shaft that goes through the gear causing it to make noise when running.
