Description
Product size: drill diameter: 41.2 mm, 1-5/8 inch, round shaft diameter: 8 mm, 5/16 inch, drilling depth: 60 mm, 2-3/8 inch, total length: 94 mm, 3-11/16 inch. Hardwood (with high density), please buy in standard sizes. Softwood (with low density), please buy in a size from 0.2 mm to 0.5 mm smaller
High quality: positioning drill and blades are made of YG8, hardness 91HRA, bending strength up to 2200 N/cm², can be resharpened. The shaft is made of #45 steel, heat resistant and corrosion resistant. After hardening, the hardness is extremely high, effectively avoiding bending of the shaft during use
2.00 mm super thick blade: uses an industrial YG8 blade with a thickness of 2.00 mm, which extends the service life by 10 times compared to a 1.3 mm thick blade
High precision: We use a fully automated production line with a product accuracy of up to 99%. The error rate when drilling is less than 0.1 mm. Ideal for high precision drilling work
Note: The drilling process should be carried out vertically. It is recommended to use a jig such as a vice to keep the material stable and get a smooth hole with accurate size. Start with slow drilling speed until the drill is fully positioned, and then accelerate gradually. RPM should be maintained between 2200 and 2500 RPM for better results
Wide ApplicationsForstner drill bit is perfect for wood, plastic, plywood, solid wood boards, MDF, plastics, furniture, door hinges, desks, etc. Note: can not be used for metal and non-ferrous metals
Important notes: For Forstner drill bits with large diameter (60 mm), it is best to use machines with good fixing performance for drilling work, such as bench drills, standing drills and vertical electric drills. If you absolutely need to use a hand drill, be sure to use a powerful electric hand drill and combine it best with a vice with good fixing effect. Otherwise, a good drilling result will not be achieved
