“Female Seal” – designed by Chresten Sommer for spring Copenhagen – is a playful and decorative seal made of oak wood. Her raw and simple look – which is given to her by the wood from which it is made – is perfectly complemented by a more childlike aesthetic expression that works optimally on shelves, window sills and drawers. It is a decorative element that appeals to both children and adults.
The Female Seal is the large version of Chresten Summer’s cute seals. It is reminiscent of walks on the beach when the cute, spotted seals stretch their heads out of the sea or lie on stones or sandbanks.
The movable head is the truly unique part of Chresten Sommer seals. This means you can create different expressions by tilting the head of the seal. It’s a really fun feature and gives room for creativity and variety when both Female Seal and Baby Seal lie side by side.
